BC Place Stadium
Audio-Reactive LED Mapping

For the 2013 Contact Festival, we replaced BC Place Stadium's schedule-based LED control system, replacing subtle, architectural colour fades with live, computer-generated video effects mapped directly to the roof.

Taking a live audio feed from Skrillex's audio console, we transformed the roof of the stadium into the largest graphic-equalizer display in the history of the world.

The pixel-mapped roof became the key visual element of the festival, welcoming festival patrons as they approached the venue, attracting mainstream media attention from CBC, CTV and the Huffington Post, and dominating social-media conversations during and after the festival.
